The camera is obviously being operated by a robot because it's moving up that canyon "walkway" waaay too fast for a person.
I actually haven't watched it all the way through yet. It's the whole "hand over my dropped jaw mouth" that I keep doing.
Why hasn’t a construction company been up there to re-install very secure, heavy hand railings along that trail and to reinforce the concrete path? That’s why I say “robot” cuz no one in their frickin’ right mind would be balancing along the outer bar to get past the gaping holes in the concrete.
What am I saying? If you saw those first two holes in the concrete path, why would you continue on thinking that 2 inches of concrete would actually support you? Oh, I get it. It must be the ½ guywire along the wall that will support you if you fall through the concrete, or is it actually “adobe?” And where’s the rebar? Must be adobe.
This ranks right up with the glass path leading out over the Grand Canyon and on my “MUST NEVER ATTEMPT IN YOUR LIFETIME” list of things not to do.
I’ll be the one in the kayak in the river looking up with a pair of binoculars saying, “YOU CRAZY F*CKERS!!! Do you have a death with or something? I just hope you have your will completed!!!”
If not, I’ll pass out business cards at the bottom of the path or I’ll say “I TOLD YOU SO!!” as they’re falling into the river.
Holy crap...who in their right mind would CHOOSE to do something like that...my hands are sweating bullets just watching the darn video. And then he meets all those other people up there with him!! I think that would not be on my list of places to see. Mom
